This is the official page of the Barbados Rugby Football Union (BRFU). Our aim is to promote the discipline of rugby union within our country, while building links and helping to raise the standard of the game. The sport of rugby has been played at the Garrison since the 1900's when the British armed forces stationed in Barbados introduced the sport to the island. The BRFU became a member of the International Rugby Board (IRB) in 1995. In 2014, Barbados sent a team to the prestigious Hong Kong Sevens Tournament and Las Vegas Sevens. Barbados also competed in Rugby Sevens in the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland in 2014.

The circus is in town. Right next to the pitch. We are asking that everyone avoid driving or riding any vehicles across our rugby pitch, as this could damage the surface as well as the underground irrigation system.
