Janina Mayers has been named CIAA Defensive Player of the Week for the second consecutive week.
The defensive award is the second straight for Janina and the third in her college career. She recorded 51 digs and 11 assists this week and 50 digs and 7 assists last week.
Janina ranks fifth in digs per set (3.72) in the CIAA. Janina has been pivotal to the success of the Saint Augustine Lady Falcons this season . They are currently tied for second in the CIAA Southern Division standings.
