Dreamland Golf Club Championship 2026⛳️
This past weekend (August 8–9), we hosted our biggest event of the year — the Club Championship 2026! 37 of our members played for over two days, bringing great energy and competitive spirit to the course.
Here are the official results:
Silver Flight
• 3rd Place: Mr Nitin (70 points)
• 2nd Place: Paul Clark (75 points)
• Winner: Scott Blyth (81 points)
Golden Flight
• 3rd Place: Mr Kim Kwang Il (143 net)
• 2nd Place: Graeme Wright (143 net — won on a Day 2 tiebreaker)
• Winner: Khalil Huseynov (139 net)
Overall Champion!
For the 3rd time, he has taken home the main trophy! With the best overall score across both days, he proved once again that he is the golfer to beat.
With a total score of 161 gross, congratulations to our 2026 Club Champion — Mr Kim Kwang Il!

Another memorable edition of the Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup Baku Qualifier took place at Dreamland Golf Club on 7 June, bringing together local high-profile figures and members of the business community for a day of great golf and competition.

This year marked the 10th consecutive year that Dreamland Golf Club has hosted the event, with participants competing for a coveted place at the Grand Finals in Türkiye later this year. Across a global series of 139 qualifying tournaments, finalists will earn the opportunity to play at Gloria Golf Club and stay at the Gloria Serenity Resort on the Turkish Golf Coast.

Martin Docherty was the champion on the day with 42 points, but as Martin is a previous winner of the event, runner-up Michael Young (41 points) will travel to the Grand Final at Gloria Golf. Paul Clark came third with 39 points.

The Closest to the Pin competition was won by Kim Changsoo. The Gross Award was won by Kim Kwangil with a score of 84.

Thank you to everyone who took part in another fantastic edition of the Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup. From the competition on the course to the Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony, it was a day filled with great golf, memorable moments, and excellent company.

We wish Michael Young the very best of luck at the Grand Finals in Türkiye.
