They all made weight, of course, this morning, even though, Shandrick had to work a bit harder to shed some excess weight. They're all feeling good and can't weight to enter the quadrilateral this evening. Once again, thanks for the well wishes! Here's hoping they all win tonight. For me, even though winning is our ultimate goal, a very formidable performance by each one of them, win or lose, would be satisfactory. Should we go 3 out of 3, would be excellent. There are two other boxers from Stay Thai Fit Aruba, Kendric Aguero and Diego Sommers, who are also on the card, this evening. I have enough hands and data, I guess, that I can go "live."

A decision can be overturned, in the event a Head Official would have committed a terrible error, by mistakingly declaring one boxer the winner, when the scorecards had it otherwise. The Judges' decision had Evander Nedd, in the Blue corner, as the winner with a 2 - 1 score, meaning, two Judges would have scored the bout in favour of the blue corner.
Apparently, the Head Official, is not well versed, as far as the "Olympic Boxing Rules" (amateur boxing rules) are concerned, hence, whatever criteria he may have used is alarmingly scary and unacceptable, and is not in the best interest of our pugilistic sport!
Incidentally, the Professional Rules are similar to that of Olympic Boxing, when declaring a winner. Nevertheless, a points decision in an International tournament with five Judges, would read, i.g., , 5 - 0, 4 - 1, or 3 - 2, with the latter being a split decision. In the case where three Judges are used, a points decision would read, 3 - 0, or 2 - 1, with the latter being a split decision.
Had this been a tournament, and not an event, which it was, the boxer in the Red Corner would have continued vs the other winner, irrespective, of any mistake which could have been made, unless, it was discovered immediately, that is, the same evening of the bout.
I was advised by one of the best Officials, who is an Olympic Boxing Official, and who presently represents World Boxing, to ensure that Evander Nedd is presented with his Gold Medal, and that the result in his record book is changed.

Come the 26th of October, Evan & Evander Nedd, father & son, will both be in action. Evan will enter the boxing quadrilateral after a long absence in the world of professional boxing, while Evander, will be making his boxing debut in the amateur ranks, Olympic boxing. Let's come out in full to give them, and of course, all the other Aruban warriors/boxers, our complete support!
