Young Golf Club The Young Golf Club situated in the South West Slopes region in Young NSW is regarded as one of the best if not the best golf course in country NSW.

Norman Crawford Handicap Matchplay
Quarter finals by 20th September
Semi finals by the 5th October
Final by the 25th October.

Mixed Matchplay
The qualifying round is 19th September
Quarters finals by 18th October
Semi finals by 15th November
Final by 29th November.

Ladies Golf:
On Wednesday the Ladies played a single stroke event and the winner was Mylan Davidson with 69 nett and she won 4 balls. The runner up was Helen Hamblin (3 balls) with 71 nett on a countback from Leanne Slater (2 balls). The A.Grade Medal was won by Leanne Slater, the B.Grade Medal was won by Trish Miller and the C.Grade Medal was won by Mylan Davidson. The NTP were won by Sandra Holmes (7th) in B.Grade, Libby Callaghan (13th) in C.Grade and Leanne Slater (16th) in C.Grade. Balls went to 77 nett on a countback and there were 12 players.
The Saturday event was a single stableford sponsored by the Young Services Club and the winner was Rachel Dorman with 44 points. The runner up was Noela Hardman with 38 points on a countback. Noela Hardman won the PH Golf NTP on the 17th. Balls went to 35 points on a countback and there were 17 players.

Golf:
The Saturday event was a Single Stableford sponsored by Chapman’s Embroidery and Workwear. The winners were in A.Grade Mark McCormick 40 points from runner up Levi French 38 points on a countback. B.Grade was won by Allan Moore with 42 points from runner up Ian Tierney with 39 points on a countback. C.Grade was won by Darryl Brown with 49 points from Shane Dick with 42 points on a countback. The Watson Toyota NTP on the 7th was won by Mark McCormick and the 17th was won by Jeff Regan. The Pro Pin on the 7th was won by Mark McCormick and he received a voucher for $71. The Terry Brothers Carpet Court secret birdie hole was the 13th and was won by Wayne Honeman on a card draw. The ARMA Fabrication- Eagles Nest Jackpot of $200 on the 12th was not won. The Ian Page Bricklaying card draw was won by Lachlan Batinich. The Salami Brother Pizza award was won by Craig Collins. Balls went down to 35 points on a countback and there were 69 players.

The Andrew Sabidussi $400 “Hole in One” voucher was not won this week. Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday players tried their best but the prize remains elusive. Many thanks to Andrew, your challenge continues to be beyond our members skill set!

The Wednesday medley was won by Peter Doherty with 40 points on a countback and he won 12 balls. Runner up was Terry Shipp (9 balls) with 40 points from Craig Watson (7 balls) with 38 points. Fourth was Darryl Brown (5 balls) with 37 points on a countback from Peter Kirkwood (5 balls) and Riley Hatch (2 balls). Ian Tierney won the Pro Pin and he received a voucher for $50. Balls went to 30 points and there were 61 players.
The Friday medley was won by Casey Ashton with 41 points and he won 5 balls. The runner up was Allan Moore (4 balls) with 39 points from Sam Langford (2 balls) with 38 points on a countback. The Pro Pin was won by Ben Baker and he receive a voucher for $18. Balls went to 32 points and there were 20 players.

The WD Quality Cuts Sunday medley stableford was won by Jeff Regan with 40 points and he won 6 balls. Runner up was Ben Baker (4 balls) with 39 points. Third was Levi French (3 balls) with 38 points from Grant Harding (2 balls) with 36 points. The Watson Toyota secret birdie hole was not won and jackpots to $60 next week. The Pro Pin was won by Aaryn Murfitt and he received a voucher for $25. Balls went to 32 points and there were 28 players.

The Social Club played a 14 holes event. The winner was Colin Gilchrist with 49 nett on a countback and he won a $25 voucher from Donges IGA. Runner up was Allan Anderson with 49 nett from Mick McCormick who was third with 51 nett. Darren Eastwood hac a gobble on the 6th. There were 16 players.

Maxine McCormack sponsored the runners up prize that was won Margaret Kinlyside. Leanne Slater won the PH Golf NTP on the 17th. Balls went to 37 points on a countback and there were 19 players.

Golf:
The Saturday event was the September Monthly Medals sponsored by Cooltech Refrigeration & Air Conditioning. The medal winners were Jim Brewster in A.Grade with 67 nett, Craig Webber in B.Grade with 70 nett on a countback and Ben Dean won C.Grade with 65 nett . The Elite Cleaning scratch winners were Scott Nolan in A.Grade with 71, Tom McKnight in B.Grade with 84 on a countback and Ben Dean in C.Grade with 88 on a countback. The Elegant Timber Shutters and Blinds putting competition winners were Ray Hargraves in A.Grade, Allan Moore in B.Grade and Col Miller in C.Grade. The Watson Toyota NTP on the 7th was won by William Hurcum and the 17th was won by Don Cruickshank. The Pro Pin on the 7th was won by William Hurcum and he received a voucher for $79. The Terry Brothers Carpet Court secret birdie hole was not struck. The McAllister Motors second shot NTPs were won by Andrew Miller in A.Grade on the 3rd, Robert Bush in B.Grade on the 9th and the 15th in C Grade was not struck. The ARMA Fabrication- Eagles Nest Jackpot of $200 on the 12th was not won. The Ian Page Bricklaying card draw was won by Terry Shipp. The Salami Brother Pizza awards were won by Cameron Hobbs, Brendon Crose and Peter Doherty. Balls went down to 72 nett on a countback and there were 82 players.

The WD Quality Cuts Sunday medley stableford was won by Casey Ashton with 40 points on a countback and he won 6 balls. Runner up was Jesse Corcoran (4 balls) with 40 points. Third was Greg Glasgow (3 balls) with 39 points on a countback from Casey Smith (2 balls). The Watson Toyota secret birdie hole was won by James French on a card draw. The jackpot resets to $30 next week. The Pro Pin was won by Gavin Marshall and he received a voucher for $25. Balls went to 32 points and there were 25 players.

The Social Club played their Memorial Day 14 holes event. The winner was Will Albert with 49 nett. Col Gilchrist was runner up with57 nett on a countback from Darren Eastwood. Darren Eastwood had a google on the 1st. The jackpot hole was the third and there was no winner.
