ion-impaired and fully sighted. We welcome people of all ages, both vision impaired and fully sighted, and invite you to attend on a Thursday night or Saturday afternoon to watch and play a game. We use a table which is 3.6 M long and 1.5 M wide with a board that acts as a net that is 7 CM high from the table to allow the ball to role under. The ball contains bottle tops that make a noise whilst it travels along the table. The players (playing either singles or doubles) hit the ball with wooden bats. The idea is to swish the ball under the net and off the other end in order to score the point. As in table Tennis, 1 person serves to the opponent, who then returns the ball and so commences the rally. The Club enjoys the support, and is a local client group, of Vision Australia, as well as that of other Queensland Swish clubs and those interstate.
