🐴 WHEN DO YOU NEED A COMPETITION LICENCE FOR EVENTING?

Planning to compete EVA95 and above? Here’s a quick reminder about competition licence requirements.

For Eventing, horses require a current EA Competition Licence.

🔹 The horse must hold EA Full Registration (one off payment)
🔹 Competition Licence fee: $12 (Annual EA fee)

🔹 Fee current as at 1 July 2026 (expires yearly on 31 December)

For Eventing, horses competing EVA80 and below
🔹EVA80 and below EA Base registration is encouraged
🔹No competition licence required

Nominations Open On Nominate

Congratulations to our Capricorn equestrian group Members Morgan, Mackenzie and Jasmine who have been offered places on the Interschool Queensland State Team and are heading to the Australian Interschool Championships in Melbourne this September.

It has been a long road to qualify for these riders. Our Club is proud to provide opportunities for our regional riders to train, compete and qualify for the 2026 Edwards Saddleworld Interschool Queensland State Championships and then progress to the National competition.

Well done at the State Champs team and best of luck at Nationals!
