Yeppoon Bowls Club

President Lynn’s Presidents Day held yesterday was enjoyed by all the Yeppoon members and visiting ladies bowls Clubs.

We can’t forget our two Div 4 teams who did the Club proud as well. Div 2 only lost one game to Gracemere and Div 1 had some close games as well as wins.
Both teams gelled well and I’m sure all looking forward next years Pennants.

2026 Yeppoon Pennants teams. What a fantastic month of camaraderie. Thank you to the CQ Officials who have worked tirelessly behind the scenes, our BowlsLink coordinator, the umpires, scorers,our Green keeper and helpers, Selectors and anyone else who helped during the season. Sure was a positive enhancement of our Club Culture.

Our Div 2 team had a massive challenge approaching the last two games of the season starting 101 shots behind Gracemere. They got off to a great start winning by 60 shots on Saturday and giving them a target for Sunday. Gracemere won their game by 10, which left them the huge task of having to win by 52 on Sunday. The scene was set. The supporters turned up in numbers to help carry the team to an emphatic 68 shot win. What an amazing weekend of Bowls for all divisions.

Congratulations Yeppoon Div 3 Pennants team proudly holding the Pennant flag.
After finding out they had a forfeit last Sunday our Div 3 bowlers needed a strong win on Saturday to secure the Pennant flag and they didn’t disappoint.
In front of a great home crowd of supporters they came out with a good win.
Great effort Yeppoon.
