The weather window this week definitely wasn’t what was forecast, but we still got out there and made the most of it. 🌊🎣

Battling through the waves, we managed to put some great fish on the boat!

It might not have been the smoothest conditions, but that just makes getting the fish on board even more satisfying. 💪🐟

Some cracking Reds from last week! 🔥

I have to say, it was one of the best drifts I’ve ever done. The fish were on, and the action didn’t stop.

The standout moment? One angler landed three Reds over 13kg on the same drift! That’s the sort of session you dream about and one that won’t be forgotten anytime soon.

Got On Water Performance to give the girls a little tune-up, and I have to say… I’m impressed.

We ran back-to-back tests before and after the tune, and the numbers speak for themselves.

Fuel economy improvements:

* 3500 rpm – 19 knots: 5.0 L/nm ➜ 4.3 L/nm
* 3750 rpm – 21 knots: 5.1 L/nm ➜ 4.5 L/nm
* 4000 rpm – 23 knots: 5.3 L/nm ➜ 4.65 L/nm
* 4250 rpm – 25 knots: 5.6 L/nm ➜ 4.95 L/nm
* 4500 rpm – 27 knots: 6.0 L/nm ➜ 5.34 L/nm

That’s roughly a 12–14% improvement in fuel economy across the cruising range.

For a boat that clocks up around 1,300 hours a year, that’s a huge saving in fuel over the course of a season. More miles, less fuel, and the girls are running better than ever.
