A big thankyou to Rod, Bill, and the volunteers of the Yeppoon Indoor Bowling Club who did a fantastic job organising and running the open day held yesterday for both clubs. Shout out to the darts club members who also helped out with BBQ and set up, and demonstrations.

For people unable to drop down yesterday for a look, the Indoor Bowling Club and the darts club still operate most weeks of the year, so don't be shy, drop in to have a look or ask questions. These could be the sports for you!

Darts occurs Wednesday nights. Doors open 6.30 or therabout. 7 p.m start until 9.30 p.m. $3 playing fee per person. All levels of playing ability. Teams are put together each night, generally playing in teams of two people.

Yeppoon Indoor Bowling Club and Capricorn Coast Darts Association clubhouse information open day at Yeppoon Showgrounds for interested community members to drop in and enquire about the clubs, try a game of Indoor bowls or darts. Members will be in attendance to answer questions. Saturday 15 August from 10 a.m.

The Capricorn Coast Darts Association would like to pass on our appreciation to "The Cobra" Coburn for donating his 2024 Australian Darts Masters shirt to our club. The shirt has been signed by Stuart and his 1st round opponent from that event - a lad by the name Michael "Bully Boy" Smith. The shirt design is a ripper.

A shout out also to Andrew Coburn for hauling this prized item to the Capricorn Coast for a handover to the club, rather than pride of place in his darts room at home.

This shirt will be one of the major prizes in our clubs 2026 multi draw raffle. Keep an eye out for ticket sales.

Due to renovations at Yeppoon Indoor Bowling Club there will not be darts this Wednesday 6 May. Darts will recommence on wednesday 13 May.

Social darts recommences Wednesday 21 January 2026 at the Yeppoon Indoor Bowling Clubhouse, Yeppoon Showgrounds. 6.30 p.m. doors open for a 7.00 p.m. Start.

Playing Doubles with teams put together on the night. $3.00 playing fee per person.

Current and new members welcome.

2026 club membership fee $10/junior, $20/senior ordinary member.

Capricorn Coast Darts Association (C.C.D.A) would like to thank the Livingstone Shire Council and Bendigo Bank who supported the club via the Livingstone Shire Council and Bendigo Community Bank Community Grants Scheme in 2025.

The grant scheme enabled the club to purchase materials for members to manufacture and assemble new dart board stands and associated components. These new stands will assist the club in providing capacity for additional members and future darts events. Also, many thanks go to club members who donated their time to order and gather materials, and to manufacture, paint and assemble the stands.
