What a day! 🏆

With over 2,000 people attending throughout the day, Guildford West Sportsground was absolutely buzzing. The atmosphere, the football, the families and the support made it a Grand Final Day to remember!

But behind all of that was a huge amount of work from our incredible committee.

They arrived well before many people had even woken up and they left well after everyone had gone home, put their feet up and called it a day.

While most people experienced the finished product, our committee were the ones making it happen.

Setting up.
Organising.
Serving.
Cleaning.
Directing.
Solving problems.
Helping clubs.
Helping teams.
Helping our association.
And doing whatever needed to be done.

And importantly, they didn’t do it just for Holroyd Rangers.

They did it for other clubs, our association, the players, families, supporters and everyone who came through the gates today.

These are the people who give so much to our community — often without recognition, without reward and without asking for anything in return.

And if this is what they do for the wider football community, you can only imagine what they do for our members.

We are genuinely blessed to have a committee that continues to give so much of their time, energy and weekends to our club and our community.

To every single committee member and volunteer who worked today — THANK YOU. ❤️

Your work might happen behind the scenes, but it is the reason days like today happen.

Today is the day! We’re incredibly excited to welcome everyone to Guildford West Sportsground & Fairfield Rd Park for the GDSFA 2026 Grand Final Day.

We look forward to seeing you at our ground and ask everyone to help us make it a fantastic day by respecting our ground rules, ground officials and volunteers.

🚨 IMPORTANT PARKING INFORMATION

There is NO PARKING at Fairfield Rd Park.

Please do not attempt to park at Fairfield Rd Park, as parking will not be permitted.

🚌 A shuttle bus will operate from Guildford West Sportsground to Fairfield Rd Park, or you can simply walk down.

Please allow yourself plenty of time to park at Guildford West Sportsground and make your way to the fields.

⚠️ PLEASE REMEMBER

* 🚫 No parking on grass areas
* 🚫 No spectators inside the field perimeter
* 🚫 No warming up on the main playing fields
* 🚭 No smoking or va**ng anywhere on the grounds
* 👮 Please follow the directions of ground officials
* 🚌 Use the shuttle bus to Fairfield Rd Park

These rules are in place to ensure everyone has a safe, enjoyable and memorable Grand Final Day.

This is arguably one of the most anticipated games of our year — and not just because it’s a Grand Final.

At the beginning of the season, this team was nothing more than an idea.

A group of our players, coaches and committee members decided to get together, pull on the boots and have a bit of fun.

Five months later… they’re playing in a Grand Final. 😮‍💨🔥

What started as a bit of fun has suddenly become very real.

And this group deserves our support.

Many of these players are the people who spend their weeks coaching our teams, serving on our committee and giving their time to help everyone else at Holroyd Rangers succeed.

Tomorrow, it’s time for us to give something back.

There is absolutely no reason this game shouldn’t have hundreds of Rangers supporters lining the sidelines.

Come down. Bring the kids. Bring your family. Bring your mates.
Bring the noise.

Let’s fill Guildford West Sportsground and show this group exactly what they mean to our club.

Match time maters… A child getting meaningful match time is imperative to their development.

Training is important, but nothing replaces game time.

The goal should be to put your child in the best environment for their development.

Unfortunately due to weather we have decided to postpone tonight’s SPL trials until next Tuesday 1st of September.
We are still needing a few more U7 and U10 players to complete these teams. We hope to see you there!
