CANTEEN VOLUNTEERS NEEDED – FINALS WEEK | SATURDAY 5TH SEPTEMBER

We are calling on our amazing Lakes Netball Club community to please rally together and help us keep our canteen running during Finals Week! 🙌🏼

We understand that many of our teams may not be playing this weekend, but this is where we really need everyone to come together. Even a small amount of your time can make a HUGE difference to our club. Whether you can spare an hour, a few hours, or more — we would be incredibly grateful! 💙

⏰ 8.20am – 4pm
👥 4 volunteers needed at all times
🧑🏼‍🤝‍🧑🏼 Kids over 12 can assist, provided there is someone over 18 in the canteen at all times.

💰 Why is this so important?
Fundraising is one of the ways we raise much-needed funds for our club. These funds help cover the costs of things that benefit ALL of our players, including equipment, bibs, umpire payments, presentation costs and so much more.

If we cannot provide the required volunteers for canteen, we are forfeiting our fundraising opportunities at WDNA for the 2027 season. This would have a real impact on our club and the things we are able to provide for our players.
We know everyone is busy, and we’re not asking you to give up your whole day. If everyone chips in a little, we can share the load and make it manageable for everyone.

Your time, no matter how little, genuinely makes a difference.
