50‑Game Milestones Across the Club! 💙

Over the past few weeks, we’ve celebrated some huge achievements across our junior and youth teams — 50 games of Vikings grit, growth, and commitment. A massive congratulations to these legends:

• Under 10’s — Daniel & Ethan
• Under 13 Girls — Lara, Rosie & Charlotte W
• Under 15 Girls — Taylor

Each milestone represents years of effort, teamwork, and love for the game. We’re incredibly proud of every one of you — and grateful for the families, coaches, and teammates who’ve supported the journey.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along today to support our U15 Boys in their Grand Final 💙

From our Juniors to Seniors, and from siblings to grandparents, it was wonderful to see our Vikings community come together to get behind the boys. Your support means so much to our players and is a big part of what makes our club so special.

We’re nearly through August and it’s time to celebrate the volunteers who keep our club moving.

Whether they coach, manage, run water, help in the canteen or simply show up when needed — every role counts.

🏆 VIKINGS VOLUNTEER OF THE MONTH – JULY 🏆

Congratulations to Di, our July Vikings Volunteer of the Month! 💙🤍

Di is one of those people who pops up everywhere around the Vikings.

She leads our Uniform Shop, is part of our Events Subcommittee, helps in the canteen and bar, is Team Manager for our U15 Girls and, as a supporting parent and Club sponsor, contributes to our community in more ways than most people would ever see.

Perhaps the biggest reflection of Di's contribution is that she has been nominated by her peers every single month since our Volunteer of the Month initiative began.

When we asked Di why she keeps putting her hand up, her answer probably says it best:

“It’s not work when it’s fun with friends.”

Congratulations Di and thank you for everything you do for the Vikings. A very deserving recipient of $200 thanks to our Community Partner, Community Bank Wynnum-Manly. 👏

The club is now calling for nominations for committee positions for the 2026/27 season.

Executive Positions
Nominations are open for the following executive roles:
• President
• Vice President
• Secretary
• Treasurer

Non-Executive Positions
There are also three non-executive committee positions available.
