Our lovely Bridget is participating in the Step Up to Breast Cancer challenge to raise funds for vital research to save lives from this insidious disease. Our lovely Bridget, is participating in the Step Up to Breast Cancer fundraiser to raise vital $'s for medical research for Breast Cancer. She is walking a nominated distance for the month of August. In Australia, 56 people are diagnosed with breast cancer everyday and some of those survivors, including Bridget, participate in our classes on a regular basis. I've just designed a new dynamic and intense aquafit class ready to trial tonight, Wednesday, designed to keep us warm and focussed in these showery and windy conditions. All I need now are some willing participants...so, see you at 6pm at Woree Sports and Aquatic Centre.

Hey there aquaholics. I'm super impressed with the awesome effort you all put in last night. 😃 There's another guy putting in a superhuman effort attempting to break the Guiness Book of Records for burpees, next door to the Woree Sports and Aquatic Centre on the sports oval. At the same time, he's raising funds for Rosie's, the organisation for the homeless...what a guy! I didn't realise until after last night's class, what was going on right next door but this guy will still be going on Wednesday night...it's a gruelling 8 day challenge and he only sleeps 3 hours a day to try to meet his goal.😵‍💫🫩😮 I'm going to pop over before Wednesday's class but I think we need to give him a massive encouraging 'Go Norm Go' straight after the class. You can save the rest of your cheering for the Mighty Maroons.😃😁😃😁

Last night at aqua, we were discussing organising a group to go and see an 80's cabaret style show that is coming to CPAC on Friday, 5th Sept called Dirty Fame Flash Candles Club. I have provided info below of the storyline and available seats. For anyone who is interested in coming along, I think the best plan would be for you to make your own booking online with CPAC so that you can choose your preferred available seat. Tickets are $55. We could meet for dinner or drinks prior to the show as it starts at 7:30pm. I have 4 seats booked in Row E Seat 32+...btw, my girlfriends intend to be bold and revisit the 80's wardrobe.😉🤣😁😁

The full moon stole the show at our first official winter's class for 2026 in the heated pool at Woree Sports and Aquatic Centre. Tonight, we'll be adding some aqua dumbells into our workout. See you at 6pm.
