🥎 UNDER 16 STATE CHAMPIONSHIP WEEKEND! 🥎

Our Under 16 Girls are heading out to Surveyors Creek Softball Fields this weekend to take on the State Championship! Good luck, girls! Play hard, back each other and most importantly, have fun!

🌟 A special shoutout to Assistant Coach Isabella Downes, who completed her practical assessment at last night’s training session, ticking off the final step in her coaching accreditation. Well done, Izzy!

A huge thank you to Kate Luyten for presenting the girls with their Representative Shirts last night and for jumping in to help at the past couple of training sessions. We really appreciate your support! 💙

A huge congratulations to our 2026 Open Women’s SSSA Representative Team on a fantastic State Championships campaign! 👏

It was incredible to see such a talented group of players, combining experience with exciting emerging talent, proudly represent Sutherland Shire Softball Association throughout the tournament. Your commitment, determination, teamwork, and sportsmanship were on display all weekend, and you should all be incredibly proud of your efforts.

A special congratulations and thank you to our coaching staff and team officials – Will, Michael, Stacey, Kellie, Jodie, and Chloe – for the support you put into the team throughout the entire campaign. Your hard work behind the scenes made this journey possible.

Day 1 complete at the Open Women’s State Championships! 🥎💙

A hard-fought opening day for Sutherland Shire Softball Association, finishing with 1 win and 2 losses. Plenty of positives to take away as the team continues to build heading into Day 2.

We’re back on the diamond tomorrow morning, taking on Manly at 8:00am, before the playoffs begin. Time to reset, refocus, and give it everything we’ve got! 💪

🎉 Congratulations to Bella, Piper and Mel on taking out the International Cup Grand Final today! Their Emeralds team claimed a thrilling 1–0 victory over USA Blue to be crowned champions. An incredible achievement and a fantastic result!
