COMING HOME 🌙 ☀️

Bali gave me the evidence. The experience.
Flourish Movement Studio now becomes The Practice 🙏🏻

I brought something home from Bali that I don’t want to lose.

Space.
Quiet.
Presence.
Simple joy. 🌺

And a deeper awareness of how I tend to my own energy.

So as I return to teaching Yoga at Flourish, I’m not feeling called to add more.

I’m refining. 😊 ☺️

Allowing my two weekly yoga practices to settle more deeply into their own rhythm…

Bindi Steele is coming to bring her energy ALIVE at Flourish.

Absolute powerhouse. 💃🏻

Bindi Bindi Steele brings with her an incredible depth of performance experience, but what I love most is the ENERGY she brings to a space — playful, expressive, bold, generous and completely herself.

And THAT is what I want moving through Flourish.

Not people coming in to replicate what I do.

Different artists.

Different life experience.
Different creative medicine.

All meeting inside the same space. 🙌🏻

Another beautiful woman bringing her own medicine into Flourish this August. 🤍

While I’m away, Helen will be stepping into our Saturday morning Yoga Fusion space for two special practices:

And I feel so grateful to be able to welcome not only Helen’s yoga practice, but the depth of the work she is already offering in the world.

Helen is the heart behind Your Life Consultancy, where she creates guided meditations and holistic wellbeing support to help people find calm, grounding and inner strength — particularly through life’s more challenging seasons.

Her work has grown from lived experience, compassion and a genuine desire to support others, woven together with yoga, meditation and more than 25 years of experience in mental-health nursing.

And THAT is the energy she brings into a room.

Grounded.
Compassionate.
Calm.
Real.

For these two Saturday mornings, I’m inviting Helen to make the Flourish space her own — to bring her practice, her wisdom and her unique way of holding space to our community.

✨ WELCOMING TEO ROSS ✨
Teo Ross

There is something deeply meaningful about welcoming Teo into Flourish this August.

Not only because of the artist he has become, but because he is my son. 😊

To witness him return from the world, bringing with him his own experiences, wisdom and creative voice, and to welcome him into this space—not as an extension of me, but as the artist he has grown to become—is something I don’t quite have words for.

As a mother, there is immense pride.

As the founder of Flourish, there is deep trust and gratitude.

Perhaps this is what legacy looks like… creating spaces where the next generation can step forward, share their gifts and flourish in their own way.

Fresh from performing internationally with Celebrity Cruises, Teo is a performer, choreographer, educator and creative mentor with a deep love of storytelling, artistry, play and authentic expression.

Throughout August, he’ll be leading our Burlesque 👠 Contemporary and RISE classes, bringing fresh choreography, creativity and joy into the Flourish community.

Alongside his work at Flourish, I’m also incredibly proud to support him as he launches THE LAUNCHPAD | Teo Ross, a new workshop series for young dancers during August at Bishop Druitt College, Coffs Harbour. 🚀 💫

Created as a neutral creative space, Launchpad invites young dancers from across our region to explore artistry, creativity and authentic expression together. If you have a young dancer in your life, I’d love you to support this beautiful initiative and follow THE LAUNCHPAD | Teo Ross.

Throughout August, Teo will also be available for 1:1 coaching at Flourish, supporting dancers preparing for scholarships, auditions, competitions and performances, or simply those wanting to deepen their creativity and artistic confidence.

Please join me in giving Teo the warmest Flourish welcome. I know you’ll love learning from him as much as I do. 👏🏻 🙌🏻
