August is done. And if your child has been in the pool this month β they have built something real. π
Every kick. Every float. Every brave moment of getting in when it felt hard.
It is all adding up β even the weeks that felt like nothing happened.
And for the families who have been thinking about starting? September is a fresh beginning.
The pool is warm. The teachers are ready. And your child's free trial is waiting.
Draw closes Wednesday 2 September! If you have been swimming through June, July, and August β make sure your child is registered for the Keep Swimming Win Big draw. π

"How do you teach a baby to swim?" β it's not what most people picture.
At this age, it's not about strokes at all. It's about building comfort in the water: gentle movement, learning to hold breath briefly, getting used to going under, and β just as importantly β giving parents the confidence to support it all in the pool and at home.
Real "swimming" skills come later. This stage is the foundation everything else is built on.

"Why do babies know how to swim?" β it's a real reflex, not a skill.
Babies are born with a mammalian dive reflex that makes them naturally hold their breath and slow their heart rate underwater. It's an incredible survival instinct β but it fades within the first few months if it's never practised.
That's exactly why starting early matters: it's not about teaching a newborn to "swim," it's about keeping that natural water comfort alive while real skills are built on top of it.
