Consulting Request :) (please comment on the OP as Ive messed up my settings and comments are off in every group I am in *facepalm*)
TL;DR:
The Core Problem: Former clients often report lack of time or struggle to maintain practices once structured support ends.
The Goal: Seeking genuine feedback (not selling) to design a model that helps people actually stick with habits and integrate capacity building into daily life long-term.
Key Questions for Feedback:
What helps a practice stick after formal support ends?
What makes a daily habit feel manageable rather than like a chore?
How should support idealistically taper off (e.g., lower-frequency 1:1, group settings, daily app reminders)?
Do you prefer self-paced structure, live support, or a hybrid?
How to Share: Leave a comment or send a DM with your thoughts on what helps you sustain habits and integrate learnings.

Hey all!
I want to ask you something, not sell you something (coz i know that’s annoying sometimes, even when you need the thing - you can come knocking on my door dm’s when you’re ready! Plus i know this group is not for that)
Okay, so here's what I keep hearing from people who've paid me, or done a course with me: they didn't have time. Or they did do the work, with me or on their own, and then didn't keep going once we finished together.
I'm trying to actually solve that, not just build another thing and cross my fingers, for you. So before I do, I want your brain on it. I want to know what you think.
Quick note on what I do, since job titles don't tell you much:
What I do isn't trauma recovery. It's capacity building, the work that gets you ready to hold therapy, get more out of therapy, or keep a practice going once therapy's finished.
Nervous system practices are woven into movement, food, sleep, relationship & connection to yourself and to the world around you... none of it is cookie cutter, work I do, even courses, are more like an experiment with support. Habit development is another area I work in, because habits are the container for your life and safety in many ways… that will do for now.
*My questions really are about…* (comment on any or all. Especially if you’ve done a course and worked out your magic stick-with-it-ability, especially if you have a theory as to what might work! Any thoughts will help)
What actually helps something stick, once the structured bit is over?
What would make a daily practice feel doable, rather than one more thing on the list?
If support tapered off over time, what would you want it to taper down to, so it doesn't just stop dead? Ie sometimes i start working with clients 2x/week, taper to 1, taper to fortnightly, and ideally they’d join a group program and taper to group support, as an example. Anther example is an app or reminders that drip daily info to remind you)
Would you rather have something structured to work through on your own, live support to talk it through, or a mix of both?
I've got a few models already on the table (a short course, one-off sessions, longer 1:1 work), and none of them, on their own, are solving the "bought it, didn't do it" problem. Which is exactly why I'm asking instead of building another one blind.
I won't be DMing you to sell anything, for real. I've popped what I've already got made (or is in my brain) in the comments below, have a look if you're curious, or comment or DM if you want to talk about any of it.
I would love LOVE to know what you think is needed, from your experience, to make your own habits stick ~ your learning integrated.
Andria.
PS, I have studied this to integrate into my work, through a several thousand dollar deep dive designed for personal use and integration into ones work. I have lived and breathes nervous system capacity building for several years now and it has settled me a lot, to the degree I can't take my original ADHD meds anymore, let alone much of the mch lower less intense dose i am prescribed now. My clients get results too from yelling less, to sleeping better, I also have less IBS -- the list goes on!
I started this because i realised i really needed deep rest, wasn't going to get a holiday, so perhaps I could take one every day!
I learned in Irene Lyons SBSM course, and continue to learn and practice.
