Ladies Golf Results Wednesday 16th September

Yesterday was a bitter day but fortunately the rain stayed away and everyone finished dry.
There were two events happening concurrently, a round of stableford with 15 players, and the semi finals of the 4BBB board event.
Catherine Bolding (18)37 points was the best score and À grade winner, with Karen Sheerin (34)34 points the B grade winner.
Placegetters Wendy Cross 34,Betty Bowmar 31, Carole Sartori 31
The two match play finals saw Yvonne Everitt & Geraldine Prentice too good for Jenny McRae & Donna Brosnan.
In the other match Anne Tschiderer & Marg Ryan defeated Marg Johnson & Merryn Dear.
The final will be played next week good luck everyone.
The ladies finally got to wish Carole Sartori Happy Big Birthday in late August, with a lovely bunch of flowers

Great scores boys but the ladies welcomed some more players who boosted our Saturday field.
Our best score was Catherine Bolding with 34 points

Today was the qualifying round for the Rita O’Connell Board 4BBB event.There were 12 pairs who layered up to keep warm in the bitter windy day.
The top 4 pairs qualified to play in the semi-finals next week.
Top pair was Jenny McRae (21) & Donna Brosnan (25) +2
Runners up were Marg Johnson (16) & Merryn Dear (22) square
Third were Anne Tschiderer (22) & Marg Ryan (30) -1
Fourth Geraldine Prentice (24) & Yvonne Everitt (19) -2

Mens Monthly Medal Saturday September 5th

AHhhh, the course was coming up a treat late Friday afternoon, then the 14mils arrived overnight .☹️☹️
However we did get a glimpse of good things to come when we get some fine days without the rain 🌧️🌧️
There were 37 brave souls who completed their rounds in the trying conditions. Kudos to all 👏👏
Our clever clogs this month was our leader Robbie Geyer who came home with pars on 3 of the last 4 holes to claim the Medal and B Grade with 84(13)71 narrowly from B R/U Caleb Kilgour 91(19)72
Àll other prize winners had 74 net so countbacks decided the order

À Grade winner Alan Cubbon 83(9)74 from R/U Stephen Judd 86(12)74

C Grade winner James Reynolds’s 97(23)74 from R/U Ben Clark 96 (22)74
