Working together to Stop Bullying!

Over the last 9 weeks, Samurai Dojo has had the privilege of coordinating karate-based anti-bullying programs with Big Fat Smile across the Illawarra.

Across 9 venues, from Austinmer to Albion Park, the program delivered 27 workshops focused on confidence, respect, control, and giving young people simple tools to stand up, speak up and support each other.

A big thank you to Big Fat Smile for inviting us into your centres.

I also want to acknowledge Illawarra Karate Academy , Sensei Brett and Teri, for working with us to help deliver these programs across the region.

And a special thank you to Sempai Steph from Samurai Dojo for representing the dojo so well throughout the program.

The Rei (bow) gets chuckles, jokes, comments - but it's symbolic of Karate. Respect. Courtesy. Manners. These come before everything else.
