Client of the Month | Hayley

Hayley has been absolutely smashing it! 👏 From walking into the clinic from the car to navigating grass, hills and her home without her chair, her progress has been incredible to watch.

She’s worked so hard to understand her limits while continuing to challenge herself and discover what her body is capable of.

So many small wins have added up to some pretty amazing milestones. We’re so proud of you, Hayley, and can’t wait to see what’s next!

Hear from our Co-Founder Dan this Spinal Cord Injury Awareness Week. This week is about turning awareness into action and for Dan that’s something that really resonates with him.

"More than 16 years ago, my life changed when I sustained a C4/5 spinal cord injury. I was told I would never walk again. At that point, I didn’t know where the journey would take me. But what started as my own search for answers, rehabilitation and technology eventually became something much bigger. It became RoboFit."

This SCI awareness week is important to me to keep raising awareness and sharing my story so others can understand and know they’re not alone.

Spinal Cord Injury Awareness Week: Catching Up With Rod (Or Gandalf)

Ros sustained a spinal cord injury a few years ago and something he wanted to raise awareness this week was when people think about spinal cord injury, they usually picture what's visible: changes to movement in the arms and legs. But that's only part of the story.

A spinal cord injury can also affect the body in ways that aren't seen from the outside. Blood pressure regulation, bowel and bladder function, heart rate, blinking, breathing, an impact to sweating and thermo regulation. These internal impacts are just as real, and just as important to understand.

This SCI Awareness Week, Rod speaking from personal experience living with a spinal cord injury and Jess are opening up (with a little bit of humor) about the parts of this journey that don't get talked about as often.

Stay tuned to hear what they have to share in Part 2.

Thank you for everything you do, on World Physio Day and every day.

Today is World Spinal Cord Injury Day.

For someone living with a spinal cord injury, the journey doesn't always mean walking again exactly as before. Sometimes it means standing tall for the first time in years. Sometimes it's better bladder control, less pain, or the confidence to sit balanced without thinking about it and all are important to raise awareness on. Progress looks different for everyone, and that's exactly how we treat it.

We're sending our best wishes to everyone living with a spinal cord injury today, and every day. Over the coming week, we'll be sharing more for Spinal Cord Injury Awareness Week, including stories from our own clients and staff about their journeys and experiences.

Its Matching Donation Day for SIP Week!

"After sustaining my own spinal cord injury, I know firsthand how life-changing an injury like this can be not only for the person injured, but for their family, friends and everyone around them.

That’s why RoboFit is proud to get behind SIP Week and the Perry Cross Spinal Research Foundation, helping raise vital funds for spinal cord injury research and the ultimate goal finding a cure for paralysis.

And TODAY your impact can go twice as far!
Donations made today will be DOUBLED, so if you have ever thought about supporting spinal cord injury research, today is the day to dig deep.

The thought that research being undertaken today could one day mean that someone who sustains a spinal cord injury is told something very different about their future is absolutely incredible.

A cure would change thousands of lives and personally, seeing that become a reality would mean more than I could ever put into words.

Every donation, big or small, helps move research forward."
- Dan

RoboFit is proud to be part of SIP Week, raising funds for the Perry Cross Spinal Research Foundation and its research into a cure for paralysis.

Here's the challenge: for one week, we're drinking everything through a straw. A small thing that points to something much bigger. For many people living with spinal cord injury, a straw isn't a novelty, it's daily life.

Every dollar goes to the Spinal Injury Project at Griffith University, working to restore movement after paralysis. It's the same belief we bring to our clinics every day. Exploring what's possible.
