Our Bush School is led by qualified and highly experienced educators, including educators with Master’s-level qualifications, who intentionally weave curriculum learning into the outdoors — without taking away the freedom, adventure and joy that makes bush school what it is.

Each term, our team documents the learning that happens across Bush School and maps it back to curriculum outcomes across multiple learning areas.

And at the end of every term, we provide our families with a comprehensive record showing the curriculum outcomes that have been explored and achieved through our teaching.

For our homeschooling families, this means Bush School can be so much more than a beautiful day outside. It can form a meaningful part of your child’s learning program and provide a record of the incredible breadth of learning that can happen beyond four walls.

“BUT WHAT ARE THEY ACTUALLY LEARNING?!?!” 😂😂

We hear it from time to time… but iykyk. 🌿

Because while it might look like they’re “just playing” in the bush, there’s a whole lot of learning happening underneath it.

And the best part?

They’re learning it because they’re genuinely interested in it.

No worksheets. No sitting still. No “today we are learning about…”

Just children doing, experimenting, creating, questioning, failing, trying again and figuring things out.
