A place in the Grand Final is on the line on Saturday for Corrimal Cougars RLFC and Thirroul Butchers at Ziems Park. Kick off is at 3pm.

And for Collegians Senior Football League and Dapto Canaries, from here, there are no second chances. Kick off 3pm at Collegians Sporting Complex.

The Harrigan Motor Group Cup Finals Series, presented by i98 FM, begins with two compelling match-ups as defending premiers Wests Devils Football Club fight to keep their title defence alive against Dapto Canaries in the Elimination Final, while Thirroul Butchers and Collegians Senior Football League battle for a place in the major semi-final.

Minor premiers Corrimal Cougars RLFC have earned the opening weekend off after defeating Sutherland-Loftus in the final game of the regular season to secure their first minor premiership since 1989.

A tough one to finish the regular season, with First Grade going down 30–26 to Collies, being pipped right on the final bell. 🐥

Plenty of positives to take from the game, including a huge milestone for Darcy Atwell, making his First Grade debut. 👏💙💛

Even better, we had 3 Under 18s players step up into First Grade, with an incredible 10 local juniors taking the field. The future is looking bright at the Canaries! 🐤

Now it’s time to turn our attention to the Minor Semi Final this weekend, where we take on Wests. 💪
