It's nearly race time for the big Wollongong Triathlon festival with the OCEAN SWIMS on THIS SATURDAY along side the World Cup Triathlon events. 8am for 2km, 8.30am 1km, 9am 400m at Wollongong Harbour. HIGH 5's to everyone that took part in today's Splash Wollongong! You were amazing! What an awesome morning at Wollongong Harbour. Hundreds took part from local's, QLD, ACT and all across NSW- you made the event so special. We could not of asked for better conditions as the forecast for cooler weather and large swell did not eventuate, rather a warm day, the sun was out, a light breeze and the harbour was at its picture perfect best. There are so many people to thank, from over 60 volunteers and crew on hand to look after everyone, to sponsors and supporters. Over the coming days we will share most photo's and event follow ups.
