What a weekend for our Duckies! For so many of our athletes, Battles marked their very first competition, and we couldn’t be prouder of the way all eight teams represented UOWCAD out on the floor!

Across our 8 competing teams, we walked away with…
5 x 1st Place
3 x 2nd Place
AND
2 x Grand Champion titles

A HUGE congratulations to our Diamond Ducks and Obsidian Ducks for bringing home the Grand Champ title 🔥

Beyond the results, we are so proud of the energy and sportsmanship our Duckies brought to Battles. Seeing so many athletes step onto the comp floor for the first time this year and absolutely smash it made the weekend even more special ❤️

My favourite part of coaching at UOWCAD is watching athletes grow in confidence and have fun working together.

I am most excited to support the progress of athlete’s knowledge of stunt mechanics and see their confidence grow with skill ex*****on.

I’ve been dancing since I was 3 and have been apart of UOWCAD since 2024! Fun fact I did obsidian, cobalt and quartz.

Favourite part is being able to be social and working while being with my friends!

Most excited for send offs as I love watching friends and family watch the hard work everyone put in!

I have been dancing for close to 14 years, I think, and teaching for 4. All at Street Beatz in North Wollongong.

What’s your favourite part of coaching at UOWCAD? ✨
My favourite part of coaching at UOWCAD is sharing my culture to all my new friends. It can be something as small as showing them a video or as big as entering a new style of competitions!

What are you most excited for this season? 🪩
I am super excited for my team BIZMUTH to perform at Nationals! They have been training super hard and I’m very proud of all of them :)
