This September we are taking part in the 5km Walk for WAGEC to raise money for women and children impacted by domestic and family violence - a cause very close to my heart.
WAGEC provides emergency accommodation, trauma recovery, specialist support for children and violence-prevention programs.

If you’re able to donate (even a tiny amount) we would be so grateful. You’ll be supporting women and children to access safety, support and healing.

Donate via the link in bio 💜💛

The walk is on Sunday 13 September at Centennial Park, and WAGEC aims to raise $1 million for its services

Hormones ❤️ fibre

One of the easiest ways I support my hormones is by making sure I’m eating enough fibre every single day.
Fibre doesn’t just keep things moving, it nourishes your gut microbiome, supports healthy blood sugar levels, and helps your body metabolise and clear excess oestrogen.

Because your gut and hormones are so closely connected, looking after one often means looking after the other.

This is a combo I eat most days that is packed with nutrients that support both gut and hormone health.
- Chia pudding
- Golden kiwi - for vitamin C, prebiotic fibre and actinidin (a digestive enzyme that helps break down protein
- Berries
- Tahini
- Ground flax (for fibre and lignans to support healthy oestrogen metabolism)
- Whatever seeds I’m seed cycling that week

I like seed cycling because it’s a simple way to intentionally nourish your body throughout your cycle while increasing the diversity of seeds in your diet (more on that later).

If you come to the studio you have most likely seen me devouring this between sessions. A breakfast I hope I’ll never get sick of 🥝🥝

Cute training partner insisted on sharing the bench.

Didn’t contribute much to the rows, but morale was high.

Summer may be over but the Good Work tees are still available online and in the studio 🌞
