Some extra reasons why I love our students 💜
These were all so thoughtful too - specifically getting a yellow and purple bouquet, knowing I’m a sacral fan, letting me embody Cookie Monster in my sleep.
So it’s not really about the gifts, it’s more the fact that people got together to make something nice happen (that was not necessary!) that demonstrates the kindness and spirit of everyone here 💜

(A day early I know..) Happy Wear It Purple day 💜
To be honest, it’s been a really fu**ed few years for LGBTQ+ rights and respect.
This is a reminder to Allys that your allyship is most important when it’s not mainstream.
And a reminder to all the Q***r folks that the world is brighter with you in it, you will always have a place here. No one can tell you who you are - that’s up to you. We can’t control how other people behave, but we can control how we treat ourselves, so practice showing yourself kindness, respect, and compassion.
