Items to donate/drop off for the Share the Dignity 'It's in the bag'.
The large collection points at Bunnings etc. don't open until November but we aim to get ahead of the ball game by beginning to collect items and/or bags over the next few months.
One of our instructors will drop completed bags to the official points of collection once they open.

Whether you would like to do up full bags at home and drop them off at the club on one of our training nights, or donate bags ( in good condition ) and individual items to go inside from the lists in the link below ( which we as a club will spend time putting together ) there are many options to be involved in this opportunity to give back to the community.🩷🩷🩷

Sunday training at Soke Jim Friis' RED DRAGONS DEN recommences tomorrow morning.

Hoping everyone has enjoyed the usual post grading hiatus! We are looking forward to seeing everyone refreshed and on the floor ready to supercharge their martial arts journeys.

Sunday classes are a fantastic opportunity to regularly train alongside students and instructors from other clubs.

Wednesday night's Muay Thai class was all about medicine balls for warm up and drilling techniques working off the centre line - using movement and angles. Sparring to implement these drills followed to round the night off nicely.

Last night in our Zen Do Kai class our blue belts and above supported Leah from Pheonix Dojos while she completed her make up green belt grading. We are pleased to report she passed with flying colours. Congratulations Leah 🙏👏

Orange belts and below had a thorough warm up with lots of core work, followed by revision of defense against 'haymaker' and 'step through reverse punch' further exploring different blocks/deflections and retaliations.

Our aspiring Dan gradees were on the clock too, putting in that dedicated hard work that goes on behind the scenes in the lead up to their full 2nd and full 1st Dan test day in early November.

Keep showing up the way you are everybody, all the hard work is continuing to pay off 👏

Last night we had David, Noah and Levi make the jump over to begin cross training in Muay Thai.
We introduced them to the first concepts behind clinching, with pad drills and calisthentics.
Was an enjoyable night, with everybody looking forward to next week 👊
