Round 14: HVRUC v Georges River - Saturday 1st August 2026. A disappointing season after the success and highs of last year. The results on the park were few and far between, but not from the lack of effort each week. Many colts (still in their teens) stepped up, often playing 2 games on the day. Congratulations to Bobby McKenzie, 1st Grade Captain, who hangs up the boots after many years playing with Valley. On the day, 2nd grade had a very convincing win, 57 - 14, while 1sts went down 32 - 5. The club is keen to bounce back from this years disappointments, and be competitive next. Thanks to the supporters, committee, coaches, sponsors and all other volunteers.

Round 13: HVRUC v Hills - Saturday 25th July 2026. With numerous players unavailable or injured, Hills at Yattenden was always going to be a struggle. Numerous players backed up for 1st Grade. At the end of the day 2nd grade lost 42 - 0 and 1st grade 85 - 21. The boys never gave in, giving 100% on the day.

Round 12: HVRUC 1st Grade 34 defeated Sydney Harbour 19 - Saturday 18th July 2026. A solid performance by the boys, especially in the scum. Plenty of attacking rugby - well done. No 2nd Grade game this week.

"Back to Hawkesbury Day" - HVRUC v Merrylands at McQuade: Saturday 11th July 2026. Disappointing results, but plenty of players available, supported by a large enthusiastic crowd. Congratulations "Ants" Connon on 200 1st Grade games for the club over many years! 2nd grade went down 36 - 27 and 1st Grade 64 - 17.

Round Seven (Wet Weather Reschedule); HVRUC v Hills - Saturday 4th July 2026. Disappointing results, with 1st Going down 64 - 5 and 2nd Grade 78 - 7.

Round Ten: HVRUC v Penrith - Nepean Rugby Park. Saturday 27th June 2026. A tough day at the office with both Valley teams convincingly beaten by the big Penrith teams. 2nd Grade went down 54 - 7 and 1st Grade 50 - 0. A big thanks to the young 2nd grade players who played 2 games of came of the bench.

Round Nine: HVRUC v Oatley - Saturday 20th June 2026. No game 2nd grade. Valley 1st Grade went down in a close game against Oatley 13-12.

Round Eight: HVRUC v Epping Rams - Saturday 13th June 2026. Both Valley teams went down in reasonably close matches. 2nd Grade lost 33 to 14, while 1sts were in a much closer contest, going down 27 - 21.

Round Six: Hawkesbury Valley v Blacktown - Saturday 23rd May 2026. Two games that could have gone either way, but Blacktown were too strong in 2nd Grade 27 - 12 after a slow start by the Hawkesbury boys. 1st Grade was a much closer and wetter affair, with Blacktown scrapping home 8 - 5. Poor conditions for photos, but plenty of action.

Round Five: HVRUC v Harlequins - Saturday 16th May 2026. A tough day for the boys, with many having to double up owing to late exclusions and injuries. 2nd grade went down 60 - 12 and 1st grade lost 47 - 0. There were certainly patches of pleasing play and certainly effort, but fatigue did the boys in by the second half of 1st grade. Next week it's off to Blacktown.
