Welcome to Gold Crest Cricket Club Cricket Blast, registration is now open. You can choose to register for either Term 4 (2026) or Term 1 (2027) of the Full Season:
Term 4 commences Saturday 10 October to 28 November 2026. Fee $149.
Term 1 commences Saturday 30 January to 20 March 2027. Fee $149.
Both Term 4 and 1 - Full season for $229.
A $51 registration fee applies for PlayHQ which will cover Term 4 2026 and Term 1 2027.

Eligible ages:
Junior Balster: 5-7 years of age
Master Blasters: 8-10 years of age.
All sessions will start from 8:30am at Finsbury Park.

This is it! The big day of T20 Finals is this Sunday!! Gold Crest is top of the table and ready to go the whole way to when the Grand Final!

The semi-final starts at 10am at Kianawah Park on Oval 7 against Souths Juniors. Followed by the Grand Final starting at 1:30pm on the same oval. So, if you can, come on down and show your support!!

An action packed fortnight of Gold Crest cricket! And we absolutely dominated!!

The Crest couldn’t put a foot wrong this round, with B3 starting off with a one sided 10 wicket win over Newmarket, spearheaded by Alan Wrigley and Alex Sutton both walking away with 3 wickets each. Following that up with a 9 wicket win over Brisbane Bengal Hurricanes! Looked like similar scenes early with skipper Tim Pezet taking 3 wickets early, followed by a devastating spell against from Alex Sutton taking 2. Some late hitting saw a total of 124, which was not match for our batting line up! Brunswick Heads pair Heath Godbee and Pierce Essery putting on a 56 run opening stand, led by Heaths rapid 40 (23). Jackson Pavey then finished the job with a marvellous 51* (34), with Pierce also remaining unbeaten 25* (28) being an absolute rock at the top of the order.

C3 also kept their finals hopes alive with a 59 run win over Everton. After falling to 3/30, Brad Douglas 52 (120) steady the ship with contributions through the middle order from Sam Metcalf 35 (51), Govind Bhardwaj 28 (28) and Josh Spender 23 (48) helped get things back on track! Some late fireworks from Will Clarke 20* (14) helped get the total to a healthy 236.
Everton started well but once Will Clarke (4/54) took the first, wickets came in regular intervals. Sandeep Singh (3/24) narrowly missed out on a hat-trick, and Brad Douglas (2/7) finished the job bowling Everton out for 177. Means the lads are a must win in the final round game of the season to have a chance of finals!

Player of the round going to Brad “Dazzler” Douglas with contributions in both games and chiming in with the ball for C3! Putting a statement to the B3 skipper that maybe he should bowl him more!

B3 finally play their rescheduled round 3 game against Brisbane Bengal Hurricanes. A win here will see them claim top of the table going into the final round!

Round 6 for C3 today, coming up against Everton a win here will see their finals chance stay alive!! Playing at home and already besting Everton back in round 1, confidence will be sky high!
