Friday all day official practice followed by Qualifying, heat 1 & 2 on Saturday & Sunday heat 3 & the final.

🥉 QUEENSLAND STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS – P3! 🥉

What a weekend in Bundaberg!

While the top step was the goal, we’re incredibly proud to come away with 3rd place at the Queensland State Championships after a weekend of tough, competitive racing.

After improving in every practice session, Dominic qualified 6th, just 0.270 seconds off pole. From there, he continued to build throughout the heats, finishing 6th, 4th, 4th and 2nd to secure 4th on the grid for Sunday’s 20-lap final.

The final was anything but easy. Dominic was shuffled back to 5th on the opening lap but kept his composure, showed fantastic race pace and fought his way back through the field to finish 3rd, earning a well-deserved place on the Queensland State Championship podium. 🏆

A weekend that showed plenty of speed… but unfortunately not the result we were chasing.

Friday practice started strongly, with the #70 JND Racing Team Parolin showing front-running pace:

• Practice 1 – 2nd
• Practice 2 – 4th
• Practice 3 – 9th
• Practice 4 – 22nd

Saturday qualifying saw Dominic put the kart on the second row in 3rd, just 0.038 seconds off pole position. The speed was there from the outset, with a top speed of 116 km/h recorded across the weekend. 💨

Heat Results:

• Heat 1 – 8th
• Heat 2 – 6th
• Heat 3 – 7th
• Heat 4 – 10th

While the finishing positions don’t tell the full story, the pace was there all weekend. We were consistently racing with the front pack and continued to learn and improve every session.

Unfortunately, our weekend came to an unfortunate end with a DNF in the Final after a racing incident. It’s never how you want to finish, but that’s motorsport!

Despite the disappointing final race, there were plenty of positives to take away. We added 53 valuable championship points over the weekend and now sit 8th in the Australian Kart Championship, with plenty still to fight for over the remaining rounds.
