In many koryū traditions, the visible form of a kata does not exhaust the technique’s meaning. Looking to start something new in 2026?
We offer a 10-week introductory package to the traditional Japanese martial art of Shindō Musō Ryū jōdō.
No previous martial arts experience is needed, and jōdō is suitable for people of all ages (over 16 years old) and fitness levels.
Training takes place on Saturdays from 7:45am until 9:00am for beginners.
Our first day of training in the new year is 10 January 2026.
Location: Willoughby Community Centre Hall, on the corner of Warrane Road and McLelland Street.
