Super excited to announce that the Great White Ultra trail run will be on again in 2027. Same great course, same enticing distances and same amazing community support. Runners will journey from the beautiful Lincoln National Park back to the Port Lincoln foreshore via the Investigator and Parnkalla trail networks. Choose between 100k, 100k Team, 60k, 22k or 5k. It's time to go big.

Massive congratulations to everyone who came out to support and have a go at the very first edition of Great White Ultra, Port Lincoln, South Australia. We had ridiculously beautiful weather, participants and volunteers. Huge thanks to our sponsors Calypso Star Shark Charters, Boston Hotel, Local Liquid Waste Removal, Tailwind, The Run Shop and Your Dental Care.

Despite some last minute unapproved course changes and other minor teething issues there were plenty of satisfied and adequately exauhsted individuals and teams at the finish line.

Well done to all our ultra finishers. Yes the course was tougher than expected but possibly more scenic than expected. Our first 100k male and female winners, Martyn Goody (9hr 39min) and Sheena Appleyard (12hr 44min). And to our 60k male and female winners Clay Smith (5hr 14min) and Lucy Clutterbuck (7hrs 4min). In the 22 and a bit winners were Neil McParland and Margo Mackintosh. Our speedy 5k winners were Murphy McShane (17:44) and Jade Crawford (22:60).

All Great White Ultra drop bag stuff is available at the Boston now until 9.30pm. Anything left here will be available at Tulka House tomorrow from 9am. Cheers
