Jess the juggernaut!
Not only is Jessica Gardiner closing in on a record-extending 10th EW Australian Enduro Championship crown in 2026, but round 11 in Coonalpyn (SA) on September 5 will also be her 150th start stretching back to 2010.
Thanks to some diligent research by MA’s eagle-eyed statistician, along the journey the Australian Motorsport Hall of Famer has scored a total of 3444 points, representing 78 first places, 53 second places, 14 third places, two fourth places and, in an amazing nod to her versatility and durability, only one DNF!
That’s an extraordinary catalogue of success, on top of six victories in the 6DAYS FIM Enduro of Nations, fostering emerging female talent and championing enduro at every opportunity.
Well done, Jess – a humble champion who’s still not done!

Tayla Street 89 and Ruby Chapman: you superstars!
A red-letter day for the Australian duo in the new-for-2026 FIM Women’s Speedway World Cup (WSWC) and the revamped FIM Women’s Speedway Gold Trophy (WSGT), which were both held in Croatia on July 4.
After two heat victories to set the cast amongst the pigeons, Street then finished fourth in the final of the inaugural WSGT behind Germans Hannah Grunwald and Celina Liebmann and Slovakian Anna Hajkova, while Chapman was also in fantastic form as she completed the WGST – for under 16-year-olds on 250cc machinery – in second position behind dominant Brit Demi Blu Harris.
An afternoon in Croatia to remember for the Aussies, who took it right up to their international opposition. Congrats Tayla and Ruby!
