Tennis West brought the Regional Talent Series to Goldfields Tennis Club last week, where 20 junior players participated in a tournament-style program.

Last Thursday’s event was an opportunity for young local players to compete for an invitation to a two-day high-performance camp in Perth early next year, which was awarded to Flynn Bird, 12, the winning player of the 13-and-under division.

We had 20 players competing in 3 events. It was great to see all players giving their best. You should all be proud of yourselves.

Does my child need a tennis racquet?

We do have some racquets to borrow but ideally YES. Especially after playing for more than 1 term.

There are many reasons including:-

🎾 Players can practise outside of lesson time.
🎾Can help Players feel a sense of belonging.
🎾Players can learn responsibility and care of their equipment.
🎾Players can become familiar with their racquet.

The Blue groups for players 3-5yrs are always one of the highlights of my week
