Round 8 of the 2026 AFL Masters SA Season. R U OK? Come Togther Round at the Adelaide University Oval and access to the main stage we kicked off with hope and scraped together a team with a very light bench. Fortunately we succeeded in clear weather and even a breakout of sunshine in the second quarter.

The Gawler Districts Masters AFL Club lads although also scrapping enough players instead of their usual 40-50 generated much havoc for the Brumbys side with only a single dual goal scorer for us in Jay Racoon showing us how to score from directly in front. And I dare say will be rubbing it in for many weeks to come. he was rewarded with a bottle of good stuff from Kilikanoon Wines for his efforts.

For an exceptional task in Forward line, Back line and then taking on the Ruck again the Silver Fox of Mark Cant cleaned up the Rusden Wines Award as well as some of the oppositions ego.

The efforts of Wil Lee and Ben Ortmann will be looking forward to the menu pulling vouchers for one of the toughest games they've played at the Palais Hotel

And Rob Van Dijk and Gav OReilly took home the Seaton Hotel Awards for unrelented effort trying to maintain the swarth of Bunyips pounding through the mud like it was a home game!.

Other highlights was the oppositions award a bottle from Kilikanoon Wines which was unamiously provided to Paul Cree the Netballer from the Bunyips who must have cleaned us up!! ..Shesh touched up by a Netballer?!? Really?!?

Also again awarded opposition award was Wil Lee who still has more wine than the local cellar door

Our winner of the hat today was our legendary Paul Gaylard Fokker for being only metres away from the goals to miss it completely!.. One job Fokker!
