⭐️ 🏆 Commitment & Consistency Award 🏆 ⭐️

Last season, we introduced a new award to recognise someone a little younger — a player who may not always receive the same recognition as some of our older athletes, but who shows incredible commitment, consistency and dedication to our club.

This award is about recognising the players who give their time, turn up, get involved and consistently show us just how much basketball and Perfect Storm means to them.

This year’s recipient has certainly done that.

Waylon has shown an incredible commitment to basketball. He regularly attends weekend training, takes every opportunity to improve by attending clinics, and even helps out on the bench during our Mini Ball games.

But his commitment goes beyond playing basketball.

Waylon has volunteered his time at our All Abilities Days, helped out at Bunnings nights and Bunnings BBQs, and is always willing to lend a hand and be involved wherever he can.

For a young player, his dedication, enthusiasm and willingness to give back to the club is something really special.

Waylon, we are so proud of the commitment you show, not only to your own basketball development but to Perfect Storm as a whole.

⭐️ 🏆 Razz Monaghan Sports Player of the Season 🏆 ⭐️

Our Razz Monaghan Sports Player of the Season is someone who truly represents everything this award stands for.

Archie has shown an incredible commitment to his development and has demonstrated leadership at every level of basketball. Being appointed captain of his Goldminers team is a wonderful reflection of the respect and trust his teammates and coaches have in him.

But Archie’s leadership doesn’t stop on the court. He consistently shows respect to his coaches, referees, teammates, opposition and parents, and his sportsmanship is something we can all be proud of.

Archie always brings a positive attitude and a genuine passion for basketball and for Perfect Storm. He has also volunteered his time again and again at our Hoops for All program, where he shows incredible empathy, patience and enthusiasm while supporting players of all abilities.

Archie, you are a fantastic role model, both on and off the court, and we are incredibly proud to have you as part of the Perfect Storm family.

Hi everyone, I’ll be placing tubs in the foyer of the stadium tomorrow afternoon for singlet returns.

If you have your team has already played their last game for the season, please arrange to have the singlets dropped back.

For everyone else, primary (next week) and high school - please bring a spare shirt to change into to return your singlets after your last games.

A big thank you to all those who attended our primary presentation this afternoon, we hope you all had a good time!

Congratulations to all our award winners! You should all be proud of yourselves.

A big thank you to Matt at SportsCo who came down and set up our merch for you all to have a look at and purchase. He also organised our coaches gifts this season so thank you Willis family for all you do to support the club.

Thank you to everyone who purchased raffle tickets! We hope all our winners enjoy their prizes.

We’ll have a stall with some delicious treats for dad for Father’s Day (or for yourself, we won’t tell 😉) with all funds going back into the club.
