Packing for jazz classes just got easier!

Getting everything together before class can be one of the trickiest parts of dance, especially when you’re rushing after school!

Here’s a quick checklist of the jazz class essentials your dancer will need:
âś” Studio tee
âś” Black shorts or leggings
âś” Tanned jazz shoes
âś” Tanned dance socks
âś” Hair ties (ponytail essential)
âś” Drink bottle

Need to get something on the list?

The good news is you don’t need to spend hours searching online or drive into Sydney to find the right uniform.

We order your studio uniform and jazz class essentials with our suppliers, so you can pick up everything you need at the studio. Just send us a message or ask next time your at the studio and we’ll help you get your dancer ready for class.

Save this post for your next dance day! 🩷❤️

You probably don’t need us to tell you.

If your child is already turning the lounge room into a stage, dancing instead of walking, making up routines at random and asking when they can try dance…

…it might be time to see what happens when they get into a class.

Bring a Friend Week gave us the chance to welcome lots of new faces into the studio, and seeing how quickly they jumped in was pretty special.

We’re now taking final enrolments for 2026, with limited places remaining in selected classes.

Send us a message and we’ll help you find a class that suits your child.

It’s little moments like these that make who we are at NA Dance Company

Photos from NA Dance Company's post 20/08/2026

Things parents often notice when their child starts dance…

They start practising steps in the lounge room.

They suddenly know exactly what day is dance day.

They have very strong opinions about their dance shoes.

They talk about their teacher at the dinner table.

They start recognising songs from class within the first few seconds.

They ask if they can go to dance early.

And somewhere along the way, dance becomes part of the weekly routine.

We’ve loved seeing so many friends join us in class recently for Bring a Friend Week — and watching just how quickly they jumped in and got involved.

If your child has been watching from the sidelines, asking about dance, or has a friend already enrolled, you don’t have to wait until next year to give it a try.

We still have limited places available in selected classes for the rest of the year.

Send us a message and we can help you find the right class for your child.

Thankful when your 20 year younger teacher pops in to say hi 👋🏻

These two started tap as complete beginners this year — no experience, just gave it a go.

We get asked a lot whether it’s “too late” for teens to start dance. It’s not. Tap especially is one of the easiest styles to pick up as a beginner, and it doesn’t matter if everyone else in the room has been dancing for years — everyone starts somewhere.

If your teen has ever mentioned wanting to try it, this is exactly what that looks like in the first few weeks.

Know a teen who’d love this? Send them this one.
