Purple socks, purple hearts 💜

Last weekend Wembley JFC Auskick laced up in purple socks to raise $1,695 for Pankind, Pancreatic Cancer Australia.

We also had a special visit from the Freo Dockers AFLW girls with Lisa, Orlagh and Bella coming down to run a session with our Auskickers! Go Magpies 🖤🤍💜

Wembley JFC celebrated "50 Years of Deadly" with an Acknowledgement of Country and a gesture straight from the heart — indigenous hand-painted footballs, gifted to our opposition as a mark of respect.

We recognise and honour the rich history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples — not just for NAIDOC round, but every week.

And we're especially proud to run out in our indigenous Kulbardi jumper, designed by Aunty Rhonda — worn for this special occasion and at every home and away match all season long.

Friday Night Lights are ON again this week!! Watch our Year 4 Magpies & Kulbardi teams take on rivals Wembley Downs Junior Football Club & Claremont Junior Football Club. Plus our Year 2 Auskickers take on Claremont Year 2's in a friendly.

Enjoy some of Albert's yummy post-match food, raffle prizes for the kids, and a cold drink watching the Dockers take on the Saints!!

Wow Wee!! Our little Nathan Tonich - WHITEFOX Auskickers had a massive day being SuperHeroes and hosting the AFLW Eagles. What a perfect day for our little footy superstars and a big thanks to the West Coast Eagles for supporting our club. Our little SuperHeroes raised more than $800 that’s going to help the The Kids' Cancer Project's fundraiser to fund research programs into improving survival rates for all young people with cancer.
