While our Wembley teams' seasons have come to an end, there's still the Lacrosse WA 2026 senior grand finals. Make sure to head to Leatherback Park to check out the action tomorrow, 29 August 2026.

A bit late but here's the Match Report for last weekend, 22-23 August 2026. Tje penultimate week of the season saw our five junior teams contest their respective grand finals. A truly great achievement and effort for our juniors!

Our Men's Under 17s and Women's Under 17s claimed victory in their grand finals and finished the 2026 season as premiers!

Sadly, our Men's Under 13s, Women's Under 14s, and Men's Under 15s may not have walked away with the win on the day but gave their best, which is all we can ask.

Our final two senior teams, the Men's Division 2 and Women's Division 2 (Gold), saw their season come to an end in their preliminary finals, finishing up our club's 2026 season.

Our juniors' seasons may be over but we still have our Junior Wind-Up & Presentation Night to go. We can't wait to see our juniors together to celebrate the achievements and close the 2026 season.

Dear all WLC junior players and parents

We’re excited to invite you to the 2026 Wembley Lacrosse Club Junior Wind-Up Presentation Night, happening on:

📅 Friday 4 September 2026
🕓 4:30pm – 7:30pm (with a sharp start at 4:45pm)
📍 Floreat Oval Clubrooms

This will be a fun-filled evening to celebrate a fantastic season!

Each team/division will have their presentations in the clubrooms, burritos under the verandah, and games and activities on the oval.

To keep things flowing, the evening will run in rotating groups:
- Group 1 – Quickstix, U11s & U13s
- Group 2 – U14 Girls & U17 Girls
- Group 3 – U15 Boys & U17 Boys

- What's included: Chicken or pulled mushroom burrito with a packet of chips served under the verandah
- Who can order: Everyone’s welcome – players, parents, siblings, family members
- How to order: Order one meal per person.e.g. 2 people attending = 2 orders = $24 + booking fee
- For very little ones, you're welcome to share as needed.

Please let us know about any dietary requirements (e.g. gluten free) when placing your order via the link. Noting jalapenos and raw onion won't be included in the burrito.

Drinks:
The club's bar will be open in the clubrooms, serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. BYO water bottles are welcome.

It was a nerve-wracking end to women's Division 2 (Gold) season with a 11-12 defeat against Wanneroo-Joondalup in their preliminary final. While Wanneroo-Joondalup got off to an early start, our women's team never gave up and brought the momentum back, levelling scores with a few minutes left. Well done on a great season, Division 2 (Gold)!

A sad end to our women's Under 14s season, going down 2-16 in today's grand final. Well done to the team for their journey qualifying for the grand final and keeping their heads up against a powerful East Fremantle team. Rest up, girls, and see you next season!

Congratulations to our women's Under 17s for claiming the premiership win in today's grand final against Bayswater, 11-9! What a superb game between the two sides, with Wembley taking the lead late in the final quarter after chasing Bayswater for most of the game. A fantastic pay off for all your efforts this season. Well done, Under 17s!
