CONGRATULATIONS | Sports Aerobics

A small number of students attended the FISAF Future Champions Cup recently; and the result was outstanding. We would like to congratulate our Advanced Secondary Trio for winning a Gold Medal at the competition.

Most of the teams have already qualified for the Nationals event, so they were not required to compete.

Well done girls! great effort!

ISC Week 7 Results | Jnr & Pri teams🏀🏉

Another great week of competition for our Junior and Primary teams against Citipointe Christian College!

Our Touch Football teams produced some fantastic results, with Jnr A & B Boys and Jnr A Girls all securing wins. The Pri A Boys fought hard to finish with a draw, while Pri B Boys and Girls battled strongly throughout.

On the Basketball court, our Jnr A Girls and Pri A Girls celebrated well-deserved victories. The Jnr B Boys narrowly went down, while our Jnr A Boys, Primary A and B Boys faced tough opposition.

👏 Well done to all our athletes for their effort, teamwork and determination. Keep working hard and representing Redlands with pride!

CONGRATULATIONS | BSAS Touch Football

Redlands College was proudly represented by six teams across the 13, 15 and 18 Boys and Girls divisions at the BSAS Touch Football Championships.

Congratulations to our 13 Boys and 18 Boys, who both finished as runners-up after determined Grand Final performances. The 18 Boys showed remarkable resilience, competing with only two players on the bench and falling short by just one try.

We are proud of every player for the way they competed and represented the College across three busy days. Thank you also to our dedicated coaches for generously giving their time, energy and support.

CONGRATULATIONS | CSSAQ BASKETBALL GIRLS

A fantastic two days of basketball at the Gold Coast Sports & Leisure Centre, Carrara, with seven Redlands College teams taking the court across the CSSAQ Basketball (Yr 7-12) competition.

Our players competed with great effort and represented the College brilliantly throughout the tournament, with plenty of competitive games and strong performances across all divisions.

A fantastic tournament from our Junior Girls, who put together a brilliant day of basketball to take out their division and come away as CSSAQ Champions!

🏆 INTERMEDIATE GIRLS – CSSAQ CHAMPIONS (unfortunately we were unable to obtain a photo)
Our Intermediate Girls also produced an outstanding performance, finishing on top of their division and adding another CSSAQ win for Redlands College!

Congratulations to all seven teams on their efforts across the two days, and particularly our two championship-winning Girls teams on a fantastic achievement.

A huge thank you to all of our coaches for their time, energy and commitment to our teams. Your support of our students throughout these events is greatly appreciated!

CONGRATULATIONS | RC Student Athlete Achievement

YR11 student Levi C represented Queensland at the Schoolboys Water Polo Tournament in Woy Woy, helping his team claim gold in a dramatic penalty shoot-out. Levi saved two consecutive penalties to secure the win and was named Queensland MVP and Tournament MVP, as well as earning selection in the Tournament 7 Team.

He will next compete in Melbourne in September. Congratulations Levi, an incredible achievement for you and the Queensland team!

CONGRATULATIONS | Eve S - YR5

It was wonderful to see Eve return to competition after eight weeks on the sidelines with a foot injury. Over the weekend, she competed at the Australian Cross Country Championships in Ballarat, facing rain, mud and chilly 9-degree conditions.

Eve showed tremendous determination and fought all the way to the finish. Congratulations on an outstanding effort!

ISC Week 6 Results | Jnr/Pri Basketball and Touch Football teams🏉🏀

Last Friday was a great day of competition for our Jnr/Pri ISC teams against Brisbane Christian College!

Our Touch Football teams produced some excellent results, with the Jnr A & B Boys and Pri A Boys all recording strong victories. The Jnr A Girls also secured a narrow 4–3 win in a thrilling contest.

On the Basketball court, our Jnr A, Pri A & B Boys and Jnr A Girls all celebrated wins while the Pri A Girls fought hard against a strong BCC team.

👏 Well done to all our Jnr/Pri athletes for their effort, teamwork and sportsmanship. A fantastic representation of Redlands!

Snr/Int games see Basketball playing at Home, whilst Touch Football will be hosted by CCC.
Pri/Jnr games see both Basketball and Touch Football being played at CCC.

ISC Week 6 Results | Snr/Int Basketball & Touch Football Teams🏀🏉

A fantastic day of competition against Brisbane Christian College!

Our Touch Football teams were outstanding, with all four teams recording wins 🥇, including convincing victories for our 1st VI Boys (14–3) and 1st VI Girls (8–1).

On the basketball court, our 1st V Boys secured a strong 39–28 win🥇, while the 2nd V Boys also came away with a hard-fought 47–43 victory🥇. Our Intermediate A Girls impressed with a 37–21 win🥇, while the Intermediate A Boys and 1st V Girls battled hard against strong opposition💪🏻

Well done to all our teams for their effort, determination and sportsmanship! 👏
