150 GAMES FOR SIMONE! 🏐

A huge congratulations to Simone on reaching the incredible milestone of 150 games tomorrow with City Coasters!

Simone began her Coasters journey in 2015 and has certainly been an integral part of the club ever since.

Over the years, Simone has proven her versatility and commitment to the club. She was part of our undefeated B5 premiership team in 2020, also taking home Joint Coaster of the Year award. In 2022 she took on Vice President as well as playing in and coaching the B3 runner-up premiership team.

Coaching has been a huge part of Simone’s Coasters journey, from coaching the C3 runner up premiership team in 2016, co-coaching our C3 teams in 2017 and 2019, and even when a Simone took a year off to pursue football she continued to find ways to contribute, coaching the 2021 B5 team. A move to London took her away from the court again in 2023 and 2024, where she stayed connected to the club and still managed to get a few games in whenever she was home.

Her contribution to the club has extended well beyond playing and coaching. Simone was a valued member of the Social Committee from 2016 - 2020, helping make City Coasters the club it is today. In 2026, she has taken on co-coaching our B2 team and the role of Netball Coordinator, continuing to give back to the club she has been such a huge part of for over a decade.

150 games is an incredible achievement, but the number only tells part of the story. Player, coach, committee member, VP, coordinator, premiership player and all-round Coaster — congratulations Simone!

Congratulations to Jas & Kira on reaching their 50 game milestones tomorrow! 🏐

Some friendships are meant to be — and Kira and Jas’ City Coasters story is nothing short of a fairytale.

While they knew of each other before joining Coasters, it was through CCNC that their friendship truly blossomed and since then, they’ve been inseparable.

Both girls began their Coasters journey in 2024 with the C1.2 team, making finals in their first season.
In 2025, they stepped up as Co-Captains of C1.2, once again guiding the team through to finals. Kira was also recognised as Joint Runner Up Best & Fairest for her season.

Beyond playing, Kira and Jas have always been willing to give back to the club. Kira has umpired, scored and timed throughout her time at Coasters, while Jas is always ready to lend a hand with scoring and timing — and bring plenty of laughs along the way!

Determined from the beginning to reach their 50th game together, they have stuck to the plan - if one took a week off, the other did too!

From teammates, to co-captains, to best mates, there couldn’t be a more fitting way for these two to celebrate 50 games than side by side.
