OUR CLUB VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR – DICK BOHM

Last night, we were incredibly proud to see our very own Dick Bohm recognised as the Warwick Cowboys Juniors Club Volunteer of the Year at the Toowoomba Junior Rugby League Ball. ❤️🤍💙

Dick has been part of our club since 2021 and, even after his sons graduated from juniors, he chose to continue giving his time, skills and passion to the club he had become such an important part of.
He started out as our groundsman, keeping our fields looking their best, and over the years has evolved into so much more, becoming the creative force behind our club's branding and merchandise.
Dick designed the new Dragons logo, helping take the club into a new era, and has been behind countless jerseys, kits, merchandise and charity designs along the way.
Now, as the Dragons merged with the Hornets to become the Warwick Cowboys Juniors, Dick has taken on the mammoth task of designing our new Warwick Cowboys logo and branding, helping shape the identity of our club for the future.
What started with mowing fields has grown into an incredible contribution to our club… and we're so grateful that Dick chose to stay and continue giving back long after his boys had finished playing.

Back the next generation of Cowboys!

Yesterday, our Warwick Cowboys Juniors Under 9s had the opportunity to take to the field and play at halftime at the Titans vs Rabbitohs game!

It was such an amazing experience for our young Cowboys and one they’ll never forget.
To run out onto the field in front of a big NRL crowd was something truly special!
We’re so proud of all the kids and incredibly grateful to the gctitans for giving them an experience like this.

$11,000 RAISED FOR DEMENTIA AUSTRALIA!

We now have our official total from Charity Day, and we are absolutely blown away!

Together, the Warwick Cowboys Juniors have raised an incredible $11,000 for Dementia Australia!
A massive THANK YOU to everyone who made this possible, our incredible sponsors, players, supporters and volunteers.
Every donation, purchase, raffle ticket, helping hand and contribution added up to something truly special.

This is a massive achievement for our club, and we are so incredibly proud to be able to hand over this donation to such a great cause.
Dementia Australia was the charity chosen by our Under 17 Boys and Girls, and we couldn't be prouder of them for using their Charity Day to make a difference beyond the footy field.

SEMIFINALS WRAP-UP

What a weekend for our Warwick Cowboys Juniors!
Five of our teams made it through to the semifinals, and while Saturday saw four of those teams have their finals campaigns come to an end, every single one of them did the club proud.

Our U14s and U15s gave us two absolute nail-biters!
The Under 14s were locked in a huge battle before being beaten by a try in extra time, while our U15s were defeated by a field goal six minutes into extra time!
Two incredibly close games that could have gone either way, and our players should be so proud of the fight and determination they showed right until the very end.

Our U13 Boys and U14 Div2 also fought hard and gave it everything they had.

While the results didn’t go our way, they represented the Warwick Cowboys Juniors with pride and should be incredibly proud of their efforts.

To have FIVE teams make the semifinals in our very first year as the Warwick Cowboys Juniors is a massive achievement.
What an effort from every player, coach, manager, parent and supporter who has helped get these teams this far. 👏

And our finals hopes are still alive! Our U13 Girls are heading to Dalby this Wednesday for their semifinal, and we want to see as much Cowboys support as possible!

Let’s get behind our girls, cheer them on and hopefully keep our finals dream alive!
