A referee course will be held at the first TJRL Cluster Day in Warwick, making it the perfect time to get involved!

GIRLS- COME & TRY If you’ve been thinking about playing footy but not ready to fully commit, this is your chance to try it out first. Thanks to the QRL’s Come & Try waiver, NEW players can join training for up to two weeks before registering. It’s a great way to test the waters and see if rugby league is the sport for you. - Open to brand new players - Perfect if you’re weighing up different sports - No experience needed 📩 Getting started is easy:�• fill in the form below https://form.jotform.com/warwickcowboysjrl/girls-come-and-try �• We’ll send you the QRL Come & Try waiver�• Complete the waiver before training�• Attend training for two weeks before deciding to sign up GIRLS TEAMS We are planning on fielding girls teams for ➖U11 Girls (Born in 2015 & 2016) ➖U13 Girls (Born in 2013 & 2014) ➖U15 Girls (Born in 2011 & 2012) ➖U17 Girls (Born in 2009 & 2010) We already have the foundations of some great team forming, with players signed on and coaches lined up. If a girls team cannot be formed in a particular age group, a refund will be issued for paid registrations (conditions apply). Training is set to start soon- bring a friend and give something new a try in 2026!

🚨 We’re getting ready to launch Round 2 of our Play On! Sports Vouchers 🎾🏉

⚠️ Important reminder for families:
Every Queensland child aged 5 to 17 is eligible for one voucher per financial year. If your child received a Play On! Sports Voucher in Round 1 (August/September 2025), they won’t be eligible for this round — so there’s no need to jump online when applications open.

📅 Play On! Sports Vouchers Round 2 opens 29th January — let’s get more Queensland kids into sport and active recreation!

Referee Development Camp Opportunity ⛺️🏉

Our friends from Gold Coast Referees and Brisbane Referees have extended an invitation for us to join them at their Annual Referee Development Camp and we’re excited to share it with you!

This camp is designed for referees officiating U11–U15 matches and focuses on:
✔️ Building confidence
✔️ Improving game management and communication
✔️ Supporting referee development in a positive and inclusive environment
✔️ Creating great memories along the way

📅 Dates: Friday 27 February – Sunday 1 March 2026
📍 Location: Tallebudgera Beach Outdoor Education Centre

We will assist those attending to arrange carpooling.

💲 Cost: $55 (includes camp shirt)
👉 Heavily subsidised thanks to the TJRL Referee Development Levy
