TURN AROUND

Saturday Social Bowls started at the special time of 10am. They played turn around triples with the winners drawn out of the hat.

The team of Marian Cirson, Russell Bean and Dave Scotney received 1st prize.
Runners-up were Pat Seipelt, Dave Russell and Clark Davidson.

ICE CREAM AND A SIX PACK

⚡️ Faye “Sparky” Flint called it a little different for the eighteen competitors at the Wicked Wednesday afternoon bowls.

🌞 We enjoyed 2 games with near perfect conditions and sparing no expense,the winners tokens were drawn out of the ice cream bucket.

James White, Geoff Davis, Roger Cavanagh, Russell Bean, Vic Skilton and Marion Skaines all received cash prizes. 🤑

We had a raffle with Geoff Davis the winner of a breakfast tray generously donated by Lyons Street Butchers where you can get much more than great meat. Check them out.
Peter Guy won a six pack to help him ride home on his pushie.

🧁🍰 Afternoon tea was excellent as always.

DODGY LOOKING DUO

🏁 The team that won the Pick A Pair competition on Saturday was Faye Flint and Dave Russell with the highest score.
Next were the runners-up with the highest margin and they were Bruce Cameron, who played well all afternoon and Daryl Busch, fresh back from the Kimberley.

☘️ Lucky winner of $25 in the raffle was the boy from the Busch, Daryl.

As usual the ladies excelled in the kitchen but needed help from the multitalented men. 😜

TIE ME DOWN SCORES

At Wicked Wednesday, we had visitors, Pat Lendrum and Cliff Kerr from Kew NSW, join us for a great afternoon of bowls making up twenty players.

🙀 The winning criteria drawn out was “the most ends won” which turned out to be a toss between three with James White and Allan Pohlman eventually getting the cash.

🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ Runners-up had to have the “biggest winning margin” and that was a tie, but Marion Skaines and Cliff Kerr were lucky enough to be awarded the cash.

Smiling winner of the $25 raffle was Paul Maloney. He’s itching to buy somebody a drink, just ask him.

Thanks to the ladies for a great afternoon tea.
