It is with great pleasure we announce the Wannon Zone Warriors have won the the

John Barlee Perpetual Shield for the very first time!

This could not be possible without the encouragement and team spirit of all riders that competed on the weekend.

A massive thankyou to Meaghan who steered the team through the 2 days

This is a wonderful result for all riders with hard work, encouragement and dedication all came together over the 2 days.

Illoura Downs Pony Club Victoria State Horse Trials 2026

The Warrnambool Pony Club would like to extend its congratulations to member Matilda Graesser on winning the 2026 state championship for eventing in the grade 2 class over the weekend 👏🥳🐎

Matilda and her horse Sparrow also won the Off The Track award and the closest to optimum time award- a fantastic achievement Matilda.

Club member Jessica Williams also riding in the grade 2 class placed 3rd and 4th on her two horses while Layla Williams placed 8th in the grade 3 class.

Congratulations everyone, Warrnambool PC are very proud of your efforts 🙌

Yesterday we wrapped up another year of Pony Club. A massive shout out to MacArthur Pony Club for allowing our members to join in with your rallies 🙌 thanks also to all of the instructors, helpers and those that organise the rallies- without you they don’t happen.
