This weekend we celebrate a Rooster favourite, Annie O’Brien, as she reaches 150 senior games.

Our 2026 Division One co-captain, Annie continues to show exactly what it means to be a leader - all while juggling motherhood to daughter Mylie and still finding time to produce some seriously awesome netball!

Annie’s Roosters journey includes:
- Both Junior & Senior Premierships, including a member of the Open Premiership in 2022 & 2023
- Multiple Best & Fairest awards, including at Open level
- Past coach of both our U17s and Division One teams
- 2026 Division One Co-Captain

On court, Annie is the ultimate steadying influence. A hugely valuable midcourter, she has an incredible ability to read the game, control the tempo and make the right decisions when her team needs it most.

Off the court, she is everything you want in a teammate. Supportive, dependable and always there if you need her.

Annie is team-first, passionate and proud to wear the red and white. She leads by example, gives everything she has and continues to make those around her better.

Congratulations on this amazing milestone Annie!

Tonight we have a special treat - there’s a Parmy Army on offer! Choose from traditional, Mexican, Spanish or Aussie. Roast Veggies also available! See you there as we get around our finals team before a HUGE weekend!

SWFNC All Abilities Presentation Night is NEXT WEDNESDAY, 9th September, from 6pm at the South social rooms.

Pizza and chips supplied and drinks at bar prices.

As you may know, we are lucky enough to be hosting the HFNL 1st Semi Final next Sunday at the Friendlies.

With almost ALL our teams playing Saturday (except 17R on Sunday) we know you'll already have had a day out..
BUT we really need our South Army to come together and provide as much help as possible to ensure the day is a success and show them just how good a final at South can be (as well as being a great fundraiser for the club).

Finals Time!
This weekend has all 10 netball teams plus our U18 & Reserves footballers featuring! All but one will make the journey to Leura Oval in Camperdown, and our U17R play on Sunday at the Friendlies.
