After a years hiatus due to COVID-19 it’s great to be back as we’re here to support the South West’s developing Football & Futsal Players!

This year we’ll be supplying all South West Academy of Sport Football & Futsal Athletes with their own Athlete’s Performance Journal thanks to The Inner Game Journals.

Founded by Adelaide United’s Stefan Mauk the Athlete’s Performance Journal offers SWAS Football & Futsal athletes support with;

-Mindfulness
-Goal setting
-Gratitude
-Pre/post session evaluation
-30 sessions
-Self discovery

We cannot be prouder to be offering this kind of support to SWAS Futsal & Football Athletes and look forward to hosting Stefan for an online session soon!

During the off season I am happy to have applied my time completing numerous further qualifications most notably my;

Differential Learning System Certificate (Level 1) &

Strength and Conditioning: APEAR Model Certification with FC Porto's very own Strength & Conditioning Coach.

The Differential Learning System is an absolute game changer in allowing you to coach to a system that caters for all individuals and permits intrinsic creativity to enable self growth and understanding to lead to mastery for players as they learn to understand themselves and how they can achieve the objective outlined by the coach rather than the coach explaining a blanket model that certainly does not work for all players and therefore yields negative results.

Furthermore the system sees fast and massive growth in comparison to traditional systems and has a much higher and faster return to quality for players returning to sport after injury.

Congratulations to Benjy Hawkins who will become our first ever international player less than a year into Futsal. Chest out! I’m proud! 😁💪 work hard while others talk hard. A huge thank you to Corey Smith and all from Futsal Association. Someone had to achieve what I couldn’t I can’t be prouder.

Our very own home grown Benjy Hawkins is currently representing Victoria at the National titles in Sydney. Doesn’t he look sharp! 🙌 not bad considering Benjy only started Futsal within the last year as a proud member of Pro Iithias FE

A huge congratulations to Toby who becomes my 37th player to move into the NPL system. I could not be prouder.

All 37 players from the region to move into NPL have been academy players as we provide the must have have education to help aspiring players transition into a structured and demanding system. Toby will join Will Anders who only a few weeks ago represented us several age levels higher than his own.

It is a pleasure to support such youngsters, with Benjy Hawkins and Harry Parrett most likely at McDonald's Ballarat City FC as well.
