WEEKLY FOCUS!! Safety strokes! 🛟🦺

This week we will be practicing survival strokes!

🚨 reminder: Wrist bands are important. They help our lifeguards identify when supervision is needed and when a child must be within arms reach of a supervisor!

They must be worn at all times even during swimming lessons! It is vital that children under the age of 10 are supervised at all times for everyone’s safety and to help our lifeguards when it gets busy!

🌈 What a colourful week it’s been! 🌈

Our swimmers have brought their brightest, boldest colours to lessons all week, filling the pool with plenty of smiles, laughter and colourful fun! 🥰🏊‍♀️✨

We’ve loved seeing everyone get involved and show off their colourful spirit. A huge thank you to all our amazing swimmers and families for making Colour Week such a special one! 💕

🌩️Storm Week!🌩️

What a week! 🎉

Storm Week brought an extra burst of energy to the pool, with swimmers pushing through tough and rewarding conditions to add those final kilometres before the finish line. From first-time challengers to seasoned lap swimmers, it was fantastic to see so many members embracing the challenge.

A huge thank you to everyone who braved the "storm" and helped make Storm week one of the most memorable weeks of Swim the Channel!

WEEKLY FOCUS! COLOUR WEEK and TREADING WATER!!! 🌸🌼🌺🫧😵‍💫🛟🌷🌻🌹

In preparation for spring, we will be celebrating Colour Dress Up Week next week from the 17th -23rd August in our Learn to Swim program!

We encourage all swimmers to wear bright, fun and colourful clothing to their lesson. This could be a colourful outfit, bright accessories, or anything that helps celebrate the vibrant colours of spring.

Important roof renewal work starts mid-November. The outdoor pool will be open, and we're working with the Warrnambool Stadium and Archie Graham Centre to temporarily host some activities.

🌊 SWIM THE CHANNEL UPDATE 🌊

✅ 1,931kms swum collectively so far across the challenge
✅ 200kms added by our community this week alone
✅ 145kms completed by our current individual leader throughout the challenge 👏

We couldn't be happier with the engagement. It's been incredible to see so many swimmers jumping in, logging their kilometres, and supporting one another along the way.

🌊 Every lap counts.
🌊 Every kilometre gets us closer.
🌊 Every swimmer is helping make this challenge a success.

👀 Keep an eye out for some mystery weeks coming soon...

⛈️ The Channel is unpredictable. Conditions can change in an instant, calm waters can become rough seas, and swimmers may need to adapt to whatever comes next. That's all we're saying for now...

Female Change Rooms Temporary Closure - Thursday 6 August

Please be advised that the female change rooms at AquaZone will be closed from 11:00 AM tomorrow, Thursday 6 August, for approximately 2 hours to allow essential plumbing works to be completed.

During this time, both family change rooms will remain available for use. The male change rooms will remain fully operational and unaffected.

We kindly ask all patrons using the family change rooms to be mindful of the time spent in these facilities, as change room availability will be limited while the works are being undertaken.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience and understanding as we complete these necessary maintenance works.
