🏆 GRAND FINAL BOUND 🏆

Our U18s have booked their place in the Grand Final with a superb display today.

The boys were quick out of the blocks, slamming on 10 goals to 1 to set up the win. From there, they continued to control the game, displaying some excellent team first footy with clean, confident ball movement.

Brandan Lynch was superb all around the ground, finishing with a well deserved 5 goals.

Waya and Ollie were dominant in the first half, booting 7 and 5 goals respectively before being managed.

It was a fantastic team first performance, highlighted by a spread of 12 goalkickers. Everyone played their part and the boys now get to enjoy the build up to the biggest game of the season.

It’s the Under 18s’ turn to showcase their talent, with a spot in the Grand Final on the line.

Two teams packed with emerging talent. This one shapes up to be an absolute belter.

Three tough assignments. Three teams. One goal.
Sunday brings knockout finals football and netball, with no second chances. After progressing through Week 1, our B Grade netballers, U13.5s and U16s will all front up again in do-or-die clashes.

The day gets underway with our U13 footballers.
After grinding out a win last week, the kids can take plenty of confidence into this one. Previous matchups have gone the Cats’ way, so we’ll be looking to play our footy, build some momentum and see where it takes us.

Our U16s put together a classy final term last week and will need to reproduce that kind of footy against Old Collegians. We can expect this one to be tight, tough and exciting, particularly if we get a repeat of the last time these two sides met… a draw.

Our B Grade girls come off a strong victory last week and will be looking to turn the tables after two previous results went Nirranda’s way. Confidence is high and the girls will be ready to cause an upset.

A tough assignment awaits this Saturday as our U18s shape up for their first hitout of this finals series after enjoying the first week off.

We come up against a red hot Allansford outfit who will be full of confidence after knocking off the second ranked Creek last weekend.

While we’ve had their measure a few times already this year, finals are a different beast and Allansford are certainly not to be dismissed.

Our boys will need to be confident, sharp and ready for the contest from the opening bounce.

On the back of our last call out, we’re putting together a new roster for this weekend and looking for some extra help across Saturday and Sunday.

There are plenty of jobs that don’t require an RSA, as we always need a hand with restocking, unpacking, setting up and keeping things moving.

Sandy is an important cog in the midfield, with the ability to find plenty of the footy and pop up on the scoreboard. Sauce and Hopey bring a hard edge to the side and do some of their best work in the forward half.
Great to have all three boys locked in and buying into the vision.
